As we mentioned earlier, GOBI is known for crafting some of the toughest roof racks available. What sets them apart in terms of resilience and durability? GOBI racks are fully welded with a black powder-coated, anti-rust finish, enhancing their durability and preventing corrosion in tough conditions. Because they're constructed without screws, you won't experience any rattling on the road, even when your rack is fully loaded.
Beyond durability, the GOBI Stealth roof rack is exceptionally sturdy, with a static load capacity of 800lbs and a dynamic weight capacity of 300lbs, ample for all your gear and a rooftop tent. An optional bolt-on ladder simplifies access to your rack for attaching accessories.
Unlike typical platform racks with crossbars, the GOBI rack features a traversable mesh platform for style and durability, allowing easy attachment of gear. Additionally, steel tubing around the platform's perimeter secures cargo during transit. Installation is a breeze, requiring no drilling.
This modular system includes two removable crossbars for a rooftop tent and an integrated wind deflector, improving aerodynamics and reducing noise even at high speeds.
