Although they look very similar to one another, they have different features, cosmetic options and of course price points that makes them different. Sure mounting and dismounting pieces of gear can be a hassle at times but that’s why upTOP Overland came up with this rapid-release awning mount that lets you add or remove your awning system in less than 30 seconds.

It is as easy as pulling the retention pins and lifting the awning and you are done! It is very easy to install and won’t take up much time. This upTOP Overland awning mount can work with most awnings out there whether they are a simple side awning or larger systems like 180-degree awnings or even the 270-degree awnings.

upTOP Overland Rapid Release Tent Mount

Like the previously mentioned upTOP Overland awning mount, this roof top tent rapid release tent mount is one of those accessories that will make preparing your vehicle for your next adventure a lot faster and easier. Unlike the conventional roof top tent mounts that use clamps and difficult-to-access hardware, this mounting system allows you to add or remove your tent in matter of seconds!

Thanks to precision manufacturing and high-quality materials, this upTOP Overland tent mount kit can safely secure even the largest roof top tents out there. It can hold tents up to 250 lbs in motion and has a static weight load rating of up to 1000 lbs! It adds only ½" overall height to your vehicle thus not losing much of the aerodynamics.

This upTOP Overland rapid release tent mount works with all upTOP Overland roof rack systems an can even work with all Prinsu roof racks! However, keep in mind that it will not be compatible with TRUSS bed racks that use 2x2 cross bars.

Both upTOP Overland and Prinsu roof racks are some of the best racks you can get for your rig. upTOP Overland Alpha vs Bravo roof rack?

The upTOP Overland Bravo roof rack is their first rack system which is also their most affordable option. While all of the upTOP Overland racks have a low profile, the Bravo adds the most height out of all of them. Alpha simply builds on the Bravo and has a few more cosmetic options as well as a few more features and a lower profile. It is also a bit more expensive.

How much does an upTOP Overland rack weigh?

The upTOP Overland truck can roof racks weigh around 50lbs while a full-length roof rack for something like a 4Runner weight a bit below 70lbs. On the other hand, the upTOP Overland TRUSS bed racks weight around 55lbs!
