Coverage Where You Actually Stand
Side awnings are great for creating a lounge area. They are less useful when everything you need is in the back of the vehicle. A tailgate awning covers the one spot that gets used on every single trip: the open tailgate, the drawer system, the fridge slide, the cook setup.

The 180 Tailgate Awning Walls are 96 inches and fully enclose the rear of the rig, turning the awning into a proper tailgate tent. That converts the covered area into a private space, which people use as a changing room, a shower enclosure, extra weather protection in bad conditions, or an additional sleeping space in the truck bed.
