121 Sq Ft. Fully Enclosed or Fully Open.
FSR Hub 6XL. 8+ person basecamp tent. Removable Tri-Layer walls. 3" integrated stove jack. 66 lbs.
The FSR Hub 6XL is not a base camp shelter. It IS base camp. At 164" x 164" with 121 square feet of floor space, 80 inches of interior height, and an 8+ person capacity, this is the tent you set up when the group is too big for anything else and leave it standing for the duration of the trip. The defining feature is the removable Tri-Layer wall system. Detach one wall for a breeze and a view. Pull them all and you have a 121-square-foot open-air canopy. Put them back when the weather turns. This tent reconfigures for what camp actually looks like at any given moment.
The Hub 6XL deploys with FSR's pull-tab system and weighs 66 lbs. It includes a removable floor, a removable half rainfly, a dimmable LED light strip, front door support poles, guylines and stakes, and a carry bag. A 3-inch integrated stove jack in the ceiling lets you run a wood burner or cooking stove inside the tent for warmth on cold-weather trips. Ships free to the lower 48.

Removable Tri-Layer Walls
Unlike the roll-up walls on the smaller Hub models, the 6XL's Tri-Layer walls detach entirely via premium velcro. Remove one panel for cross-ventilation and a view of the campsite. Remove all of them and you have a fully open gazebo-style canopy with 121 square feet of shaded space. Put them back in minutes when weather rolls in. FSR's proprietary Tri-Layer insulation (polycotton fill between two layers of fabric) provides thermal protection when the walls are in place, keeping the interior warmer in cold conditions and blocking heat in summer. This is the only hub tent on the market where every wall is fully removable and fully insulated.

A Room, Not a Tent
The 164" x 164" footprint comfortably fits eight people sleeping, a full kitchen setup, camp chairs, a table, and gear simultaneously. With 80 inches (6'8") of interior height, most adults can stand and walk around freely. The door dimensions (41" W x 67" H) provide easy entry and exit without ducking. A dimmable LED light strip is included for interior lighting. A built-in waterproof interior storage compartment keeps essentials organized and dry, a detail that matters on multi-night stays with a large group. An integrated PVC window lets in natural light with an interior blackout panel that velcros over it for sleeping.

Premium Materials. Built to Stay Up.
The Hub 6XL is built to be set up once and left standing for the duration of your trip. The frame deploys with FSR's pull-tab system. Integrated bug mesh converts the tent to an instant screen house by deploying the quick-pull tabs. Roll down the Tri-Layer walls for a fully insulated experience. The removable half rainfly covers the roof for weather protection while the walls handle ventilation control independently. Configure each for the conditions you are in. Sonic-welded seams and premium zippers stand up to repeated use in harsh conditions.
More Features
3" Integrated Stove Jack: A built-in 3-inch ceiling port lets you run a wood burner or cooking stove safely inside the tent for warmth on cold-weather trips. This turns the 6XL into a hot tent for winter camping. Note: the 6XL does not include a dedicated diesel heater port. The stove jack is ceiling-only.
Removable Floor: The floor attaches via premium velcro and comes out entirely when you do not need it. This transforms the 6XL into a covered outdoor living space with no ground barrier. Useful for cooking setups, wet or sandy sites, or using the tent as a shade structure over a picnic table or fire area.
Pull-Tab Deployment: The hub structure deploys with FSR's pull-tab system. The 6XL's scale makes the initial setup less intuitive than the smaller Hub tents, but owners consistently report it becomes quick and fluid from the second attempt onward. We recommend watching the setup video or reading the install guide before your first attempt.
Integrated PVC Window: A clear PVC panel is built into the front, letting in natural light and giving you a view of the campsite without unzipping. An interior blackout panel velcros over it to block light completely when it is time to sleep. One panel, two modes.
Integrated Zipper Door: Full zipper door for unobstructed access. Roll it away and secure it for easy pass-through access in and out of the tent throughout the day.
Quick-Pull Tabs: Deploy the quick-pull tabs and you are covered. Integrated bug mesh creates an immediate screen house. Roll down the Tri-Layer walls for full insulation when temperatures drop.

📄 Setup Guide
Download the Hub tent instruction manual. We recommend reviewing it before your first setup, as the 6XL's scale makes the initial deployment less intuitive than smaller Hub models.
Why FSR
Industry Leading Design: Proprietary Tri-Layer insulation, integrated features built for people who actually use their gear hard. The removable wall system on the 6XL is unique to FSR. No other hub tent offers fully detachable insulated walls.
Everything Included: LED light strip, removable floor, removable rainfly, guylines and stakes, carry bag, front door poles. FSR does not upcharge for things you need.
Designed by Enthusiasts: Designed from real-world experience plus customer feedback. The 6XL exists because FSR's community asked for a hub tent large enough for multi-family camps and extended basecamps.
Materials That Last: Sonic-welded seams, premium velcro attachments, and construction quality designed for repeated setup-and-teardown cycles across seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Hub 6XL as an open-air canopy?
Yes. Remove all four Tri-Layer wall panels (they detach via premium velcro) and remove the floor, and you have a 121-square-foot open-air canopy. This is one of the defining features of the 6XL. Use it as a gazebo-style day shelter over a cooking area, picnic table, or camp gathering space. Put the walls back in minutes when weather changes or when it is time to sleep.
Can I use a wood stove inside the Hub 6XL?
Yes. The 6XL has a 3-inch integrated stove jack in the ceiling designed for running a wood burner or cooking stove chimney safely through the roof. This makes the 6XL a hot tent for cold-weather camping. Note: the stove jack is ceiling-only. The 6XL does not include a dedicated side-wall diesel heater port. Always follow proper safety practices when running a stove inside any tent: adequate ventilation, fire-safe clearances, and a carbon monoxide detector.
How many people does the Hub 6XL actually sleep?
FSR rates the 6XL for 8+ people. At 164" x 164" (121 sq ft), you can fit 8 sleeping pads side by side with room for gear. In practice, 6-8 adults sleep comfortably with personal space, or a family of 4-5 can set up cots, a table, and still have room to move around. The 80-inch ceiling height makes the interior feel like a room, not a tent.
Is the floor removable?
Yes. The floor attaches via premium velcro and comes out entirely. Remove it to use the 6XL as a covered outdoor living space over dirt, grass, gravel, or a concrete pad. This is useful for cooking setups where you want ventilation at ground level, sandy sites where a floor would collect sand, or when using the tent as a shade canopy over existing furniture.
How does the Hub 6XL compare to the Hub 4XL?
The 6XL is significantly larger (121 sq ft vs the 4XL's smaller footprint) and its walls are fully removable via velcro instead of roll-up. The 6XL also has a 3-inch integrated stove jack that the 4XL does not have. The 6XL weighs 66 lbs and packs to 73" x 16" x 15". Choose the 6XL for large groups (8+), multi-family camps, or extended basecamp stays where you want a shelter that stays up for the entire trip. Choose the 4XL for smaller groups who need something more compact and faster to set up.
