The RCI 9′′ Bed Bars have identical characteristics and advantages as our bed racks, and they are equally adaptable in that they can be mounted to ANY vehicle bed, from a Chevy Colorado to a Dodge 3500.

The bed bars are the best option because they accomplish everything without losing strength or adding weight, and you can place each bar however far apart you like.

These bars enable all of your goods to be securely attached with simple access, saving space and organizing your truck bed. Designed to accommodate large equipment such as rooftop tents while leaving your truck bed open and accessible.

According to internal testing, this rack can handle up to 1500 lbs of static load, depending on the truck model, bed width, etc. As a standard for static capacity (weight on rack while parked/weight when sleeping in tent, etc.), we suggest 750 pounds. Use your best judgment regarding safety when severely loading the rack; this is just a guideline.

Utilizing 2 cross-members spanning the truck bed, these bed bars have a high weight capacity and provide even weight distribution on the truck bed side rails

Bolts to the inside of bed rails or can alternatively be mounted with optional “drill-free” clamps to mount like a truck topper (Not applicable when bolting to accessory rail systems)
Bars are 9″ tall from bed rail to top of bars
Adjustable width adapts to any truck bed from 54″ – 69″ width between the bed rails
Can be positioned in any length option to fit every application from 5′ beds to 6’+
Using these bars will minimize the aerodynamic drag normally associated with rooftop tents by keeping it largely below the roof-line
Slotted mounting points on top of the rack accept nearly any rooftop tent making mounting a breeze
Heavy duty black textured powder coat finish comes standard, plus we take it a step further and coat all racks with an epoxy primer. This extra step is expensive and time-consuming but ensures our paint job will outlast anything else in the industry!
Easy bolt-together assembly, takes about 15 minutes to install with only a few basic hand tools
