upTOP Overland Rapid Release Roof Top Tent Mount Kit

Having a roof top tent on your rig and on your outdoor adventures is a must. However, having your roof top tent mounted at all times on your rig is not exactly a good thing to do. Besides damaging your tent for no reason when not using it, it also causes increased fuel efficiency and wind drag, and honestly, we can all do without it.

Now, it takes some time to install and dismount your roof top tent and that can be a hassle at times. That's why upTOP Overland released these rapid-release tent mounts that allow you to add or remove your tent in a matter of seconds! With this system, installing and removing your RTT can be done quickly and easily, allowing you to jettison the tent when not needed.

When installed, you can simply unbolt the roof top tent at the rear of the vehicle, slide it back, and take it off until your next adventure! Great thing about this upTOP Overland rapid release tent mount system is that it works perfectly with all upTOpP Overland roof rack and even all Prinsu racks!

The Rapid Release Tent Mounting System is compatible with roof racks that utilize 2x1 cross bars and is verified to work with and includes hardware the following roof racks:

upTOP ZULU Roof Racks-All Models
Prinsu Design Studios Roof Racks-All Models

This product is not compatible with TRUSS bed rack systems that utilize the 2x2 cross bar.

Roof Top Tent Compatibility

The Rapid Release Tent Mounting System can be used to secure rooftop tents up to 250 pounds (113.5 Kg). dynamic (vehicle in motion) load rating. Static (Stationary) weights can exceed 1000 pounds (453 Kg).

In the drop-down menu, the "Standard" option is intended for use with and will repurpose the hardware included with your rooftop tent mounting tracks.

The iKamper 3.0 menu option refers to the mounting system provided with your iKamper rooftop tent. Please verify your factory-provided mounting system before ordering to ensure your Rapid Release Tent Mounting System includes everything you need to mount your iKamper Tent with a 3.0 Mounting System.

The iKamper 2.0 menu option refers to the mounting system provided with your iKamper rooftop tent. Please verify your factory-provided mounting system before ordering to ensure your Rapid Release Tent Mounting System includes everything you need to mount your iKamper Tent with a 2.0 Mounting System.

Once installed the Rapid Release Tent Mounting system adds only 1/2" (12mm) of overall height to the vehicle/rack/rooftop tent.
