The BillieBars Woopy Rear Tire Tray Kit solves a problem every bike-hauling overlander runs into: your bike carrier sticks up above the bars, and now your rooftop tent cannot fully open. The Woopy sits flush against the top of your BillieBars system. Pull the bike off, and your tent opens all the way with nothing in the path. No unbolting a carrier at camp, no compromise between hauling your bike and sleeping up top.
The tray extends 12.5 inches from the back face of the bar, which is sized right for downhill mountain bike tires. It is machined from aluminum, powder coated black to match the BillieBars finish, and uses all stainless steel hardware so nothing rusts or seizes after a season of mud and road salt. Flush Profile Means Full Tent Clearance
This is the whole point of the Woopy. Most bike tire trays sit proud of the bar, which means when your rooftop tent opens, the tray is in the way. The Woopy mounts flush against the top of your BillieBars, so once the bike comes off, your tent opens fully with the tray still bolted in place. It also keeps your tent mounting height lower, which helps with overall vehicle clearance and wind noise. Bolt it on once and forget about it.
Mount It Front, Back, or Both
The Woopy is not locked to one position. Mount it on the back of the crossbar for longer mountain bikes, or flip it to the front of the crossbar for shorter kids bikes. Running a bike that falls between the two? Mount two Woopys back to back and you have a tray sized for whatever wheelbase you are hauling that day. This is the kind of flexibility that matters when the family bikes and your enduro rig both need to ride to the trailhead.

Can I still open my rooftop tent with the Woopy installed?
Yes, once the bike is removed. That is the reason the Woopy exists. Because the tray sits flush against the top of the BillieBars rather than proud of them, there is nothing sticking up into the tent's opening path. Pull the bike off, open the tent all the way, and leave the tray bolted in place. No tools, no unbolting a carrier at camp.
Is the tire strap included?
No. The rear tire strap is sold separately. You will need one to secure the bike's rear wheel in the tray. We carry the BillieBars rear tire straps so you can add one to your order.
What size bikes does the Woopy fit?
The tray extends 12.5 inches from the back face of the bar, which BillieBars sized specifically for downhill mountain bike tires. For longer bikes, mount the Woopy on the back of the crossbar. For shorter kids bikes, mount it on the front of the crossbar instead. If you need to cover an unusual wheelbase, you can mount two Woopys back to back and set the spacing yourself.
Will the powder coat match my BillieBars?
Yes. The Woopy is aluminum finished in black powder coat to match the BillieBars system. Combined with the flush mounting profile, the tray reads as part of the bars rather than an add-on bolted to them. The stainless steel hardware also holds its finish, so the whole assembly still looks right after seasons of weather and trail use.
