Backwoods Aluminum Connector Skid Plate For 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner - 2010-Current

Today we want to introduce this 5th Gen 4Runner connector skid plate that was designed by Backwoods and was made to fit all of the 5th Gen 4Runner models from 2010 up to the current one. Skid plate systems typically consist of multiple plates positioned beneath your vehicle to offer complete protection.
Specifically designed for 5th gen Toyota 4Runners, this connector plate is installed behind the front bumper, bridging the gap between the bumper and the other skid plates. Constructed from sturdy .25" aluminum, this connector plate is exclusively compatible with Backwoods 4Runner Front Bumpers.
It serves as a vital link connecting the winch and bumper's bottom mount to the factory skid plate frame mounts, ensuring essential safeguarding for the front-end cooler lines. This kit is suitable for 5th gen 4Runners with or without KDSS. While it may also work with RCI skid plates and possibly other manufacturers, it is specifically designed to bolt up with our front bumper.
For those using a Warn winch, the connector plate is secured using 2 bolts that sandwich the plate, Backwoods 4Runner bumper, and winch together. These bolts will thread into 2 of your winch mounts. However, if you have a different winch, we cannot guarantee that our supplied bolts will work. In such cases, you may need to find 2 bolts that fit your specific winch nuts.
