The Recon Hardshell 2 person rooftop tent is the newest model by BadAss tents. Made to fit most vehicles with crossbars or a roof rack, the Recon weighs only 135 lbs, making it one of the lightest hard top tents in the market.

On top of all the after-mentioned features, the Recon by BA Tents includes two top crossbars, which will enable you to carry gear and accessories anywhere you go on top of the tent. Space is not an issue anymore.

Comfort is out fo question. It has space for two adults, making it an ideal RTT for couples, sleeping with a friend or even a pet or child. The tent already includes a 1" thick sleeping pad, really, really comfy.

Thanks to the incredibly low profile, this roof rack tent will reduce wind resistance, noice gas mileage, and more. The Badass Tents’ RECON roof top tent is designed to look like a tactical utility case on top of your rig. This model’s popup design offers a 360-degree view with its large windows.

The Recon popup tent is designed to set up in 2 minutes or less by releasing the hidden clasps and giving a slight push to raise the tent to 40”. Enter through one of the 3 large zippered doors that sport spacious windows and stretch out on the comfortable integrated mattress.

Installation is easy as these tents come preassembled (do allow around 1.5 hours to get it on your car), and it does not need any additional rails or hardware.

Preassembled kit includes: A fully assembled rooftop tent with Low Mount Crossbar kit ready to install on your vehicle. OEM Ladder and vehicle not included.
