The Tuff Stuff Elite 5 person tent is one of the largest roof top tents you can find on the market. Thanks to its spacious design, the Tuff Stuff Elite is able to fit up to 5 people, making it a perfect addition to your next adventure with your friends or family. It is a 4-season tent, meaning it’ll provide a nice, warm, and dry place for you to spend the night even during the coldest of days.
If you thought that the tent by itself is spacious enough wait till you hear that it also comes with an annex! That’s right, while most of the roof top tents out there do not come with an included annex, or are not even compatible with one, the Tuff Stuff Elite comes with a durable and spacious annex that further expands your tent’s storage capabilities and allows you to have an extra sleeping quarter, or just a place store any of your valuable gear and protect it from the elements.
The Tuff Stuff Elite 5 person tent is a soft shell RTT and a very lightweight one as well, if you take into consideration its size. It can be set up in a matter of minutes and packed up at about the same time when you’re ready to hit the road again. It features integrated storage bags which you can use to organize your belongings and keep the inside of your tent clutter-free and it comes with an underside entrance point for increased privacy!
Tuff Stuff Elite Design & Materials:
The Tuff Stuff Elite roof top tent is built tough for both durability and comfort, making it a great pick for your outdoor trips. It comes with 6 “No-see-um" mosquito mesh-covered windows that’ll stop any pesky critter from going inside the tent. The windows also feature an inner and outer cover which you can roll down when the weather starts acting up to prevent any rain from getting inside. Thanks to its taped seams, moisture is not something you’ll need to worry about, even during the harshest weather conditions!
The Elite 5 person roof top tent sits on a 2 inch thick welded aluminum frame with insulated sheets on both the top and bottom of it that help retain the heat inside the tent. Inside, 1-inch aluminum poles give it solid support, preventing the tent from folding under heavy winds. The tent material is a tough 280G cotton/poly blend with a waterproof coating that sheds water easily. And just like the windows, the seams are taped to keep moisture out.
For extra protection, you’ll even get a removable rainfly made from 420D Oxford fabric that’s also waterproof and has taped seams. When not in use, you can store the tent away in its 1000D PVC travel cover that is waterproof and overall weather resistant, keeping your tent protected at all times.
