This is one of the BillieBars smaller accessories. It is a tailgate cover that will add more padding to the tailgate of your truck, improving comfort and functionality.
Even though it might not be as necessary to have as some of their other overlanding supplies, it's still a nice accessory to have in your truck. With that said, let's examine this tailgate cover's features.

This Billie Bars tailgate cover was designed to fit the Corado & Canyon models from 2014 up to 2022. The cover itself has a durable CNC laser cut 1/8" thick aluminum plate and also features a 1/4" thick marine-grade foam padding on top of it.
Besides providing you with nice, soft, and comfortable padding, the tailgate cover also features 2 cup holders in which you can place your beverage of choice and not worry about it getting spilled all over your truck bed.
However, one of the more important questions here is, why is a tailgate cover necessary? Well, to be fair, it isn't. However, like we just said, it does offer comfort. You might also be unsure as to why you need a comfortable truck tailgate.
The simple reason is that you won't ever have to worry about harming yourself since the soft foam padding will protect you if you ever need to unload anything from your truck bed and have to place your knees or palms on it.
