Having a roof rack is one of the more crucial things to have on your overlanding rig. It provides extra storage space where you can mount your gear and off-road accessories that will come in handy on your next trip. And while you can mount a roof rack on the cab of your truck it would also be very neat if you could do the same on your truck topper.
That's why RSI made a special Drop Rack for their SmartCap models. The SmartCap drop rack provides ample storage space for all of your gear as well as tie down points that you can use to safely secure it so that it won't slip off. It is constructed out of high quality, built-to-last stainless steel, and was tested to insure its durability in outdoor settings.
What makes this drop rack different from any other rack system out there is the ability to slide out on to the sides of the SmartCap and drop down in front of the SmartCap's gullwing doors to allow for easier unloading and loading without having to climb on top of it.
This RSI drop rack can withstand a whopping 770 lbs while stationary and 330 lbs while in motion which is more than enough to carry whatever gear you might ant to put on it. The drop rack is compatible with all the SmartCap types meaning that you can mount it on SmartCap EVOa Adventure, EVO Sport, and even EVOc Commercial bed cap models.
This sturdy, innovative roof rack system also has a matte black powder coat finish to increase durability even more andto prevent it from eroding in muddy or rainy areas.
