Slimline II 1/2 Roof Rack Kit For Toyota LAND CRUISER 80 - by Front Runner Outfitters

A smaller version than the original and full Slimline II roof rack, this half rack for the Land Cruiser 80 is a shorter, lighter yet equally strong and durable version.

This 1358mm/53.5" long 1/2 size Slimline II cargo carrying roof rack kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 contains Slimline II Tray and Wind Deflector, as well as 4 Gutter Mount legs for mounting the Tray to the vehicle.

It easily installs using the existing factory mounting points, and there is no drilling required.

Please keep in mind this is a shorter rack and as such it's not suitable to carry bigger items. If you need to carry large items, please look for the Land Cruiser 80 Full Rack.

The t-slots on the tops and bottoms of the rack tray slats and edge profiles accommodate standard 8mm bolts.
To determine the approximate height from your vehicle’s roof to the top of your Slimline II Roof Rack, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Foot, Grab-on Foot or Strap-On Foot listed above.
If your Slimline II Roof Rack kit uses Legs, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Legs to determine the height of the rack from your vehicle’s rain gutters.
If your Slimline II Roof Rack kit uses Foot Rails, add the height of the Slimline II Tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the Foot Rails to determine the height of the rack from the crown (highest point) of the vehicles roof.

FAQs:

Will this fit with factory cross bars on the Land Cruiser 80? This rack will not fit over the factory cross bars on the Land Cruiser 80. It will, however, clear the thin luggage sliders on the roof that run front to back should you want to remove the factory cross bars.
Can you fit a rooftop tent onto this rack? If you can would it be limited to a 1.2m tent or can you fit 1.4 or 1.6m tent? I do not need to store anything else on the rack. A 1.4m tent would be the maximum size tent that will fit on the half rack, without any overhang.
