This LC250 roof rack platform measures 60.3 inches long by 51.2 inches wide and sits 3.1 inches tall, 20% lower than the Slimline II, cutting drag, wind noise and fuel consumption. The standard sunroof remains fully operational with the rack fitted. Slats move individually without dismantling the rack, dual T-slot channels take accessories at multiple pitches, and all four corners carry integrated tie-down points. The easy-release mounting system lets the rack come off without disturbing any roof seals. 2025 and current. The vehicle this platform was designed around, standard sunroof fully usable with the rack fitted.
Lexus GX550
The GX550 shares the platform underneath, and the MSTL002 mount covers it. If you have been hunting for a GX550 roof rack, this is one of the few purpose-built options. The full-length platform is also available as a dedicated GX 550 kit.

Choose three quarter if you want a working platform that keeps nearly 27 lbs off the roof and leaves the rear of the vehicle clear.
Choose the full-length version if you want a tent and an awning and boards and cargo all laid out at once.
The Sunroof Question, Both Ways
Most platform racks sit over the sunroof and quietly end it as a feature. Dometic engineered this kit so the standard sunroof stays fully operational with the rack mounted, which on a three quarter platform makes even more sense since the tray sits forward of the rear.
The exception is the panoramic sunroof. If your Prado or GX550 has it, this kit is not compatible, and that is a hard limit rather than a caution. Check which one you have before ordering.
Move Slats Without Dismantling Anything
On the Slimline 3 you can add, remove, or shift individual slats without taking the rack apart. Fitting a new accessory no longer means pulling the tray down and rebuilding it around the mount. Slide the slats to where the gear needs them and carry on, which saves an afternoon every time the build changes.
Full Width, Shorter Length
The three quarter kit is exactly as wide as the full-length version at 51.2 inches. Only the length changes.
That matters more than it sounds. On 60.3 inches of length with the full width available, a rooftop tent still fits with room beside it for boards or an awning. You are giving up rear overhang, not usable working area, and you save nearly 27 lbs doing it.
About the OEM Roof Rails
Fitting any Land Cruiser roof rack of this type starts here: the factory roof rails need to come off before the rack goes on, since the mounting system attaches to the roof rather than working around the rails.
Worth planning for. It adds a step to the install, and you will want somewhere to keep the rails if you ever intend to put the vehicle back to standard. The easy-release mounting system means the rack itself can come off later without disturbing any roof seals, so this is a one-time job done properly.
Lower, Quieter, Cheaper to Run
The Slimline 3 platform is 3.1 inches tall, a 20% reduction on the Slimline II.

Dedicated channels within the side profiles let you route wiring for lights and other electrical accessories out of sight. Corner sections include built-in pass-throughs and breakout tabs, so wires enter and exit cleanly rather than being cable-tied along the outside of the rack.
