The Sherpa Big Bear is a full-length aluminum roof rack built specifically for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. Manufactured in Colorado with precision laser-cut 1/4" aircraft-grade aluminum sideplates formed with CNC accuracy, this is one of the toughest roof racks on the market. Seven extrusion crossbars give you mounting flexibility across the entire length of the rack. Strap gear directly to the sideplates, bolt accessories into the crossbar channels, or mount a rooftop tent, awning, or light bar on top. Installation Notice
This rack requires drilling and installation of rivets. Professional installation is recommended. If you are not comfortable with drilling into your vehicle's roof, have a qualified shop handle the install. The result is a permanent, rock-solid mount that will not loosen or shift over time.

Every sideplate is cut from aircraft-grade aluminum and formed to exact tolerances. Does the Big Bear require drilling?
Yes. This rack requires drilling and installation of rivets into the vehicle's roof. Professional installation is recommended. The rivet attachment creates a permanent, rock-solid mount that will not loosen or shift over time. This is by design. Sherpa's mounting system uses rubber seals to prevent water intrusion at drill points.
Which fairing should I choose?
If you do not have a light bar and do not plan to add one, choose the Full Fairing. It provides maximum air deflection and the smoothest face for reduced wind noise. If you run or plan to run a single-row light bar, choose the Half Fairing. It is a few inches shorter, leaving room for the light bar behind the fairing. Pair it with Sherpa's light bar brackets for a clean, integrated look. You can switch fairings later if your setup changes.
Does the Big Bear fit the 2022+ Tundra?
No. The Big Bear is designed specifically for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra CrewMax (2nd and 3rd generation). It does not fit the 2022+ 4th generation Tundra. Contact us at 844-200-3979 if you need a rack for a different Tundra year or body style, and we will help you find the right fit.
