The Grizzly. Full-Length Aluminum for the 4th Gen Tundra.
Sherpa PEAK Series. 1/4" aircraft-grade aluminum sideplates. CrewMax and Double Cab. 300 lb dynamic / 600 lb static. Lifetime Warranty.
The Sherpa Grizzly is a full-length aluminum roof rack built for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra. It expands on Sherpa's lineup of tried and true rack systems, and these racks are some of the toughest on the market. The Grizzly is designed to get your gear to the places that matter most. Explore more and worry less with industry-leading 1/4 inch thick aircraft-grade aluminum side panels and stainless steel hardware throughout.
Secure your gear by bolting into one of the extrusion crossbars or by strapping it directly to the side plates. The Grizzly is available for both cab configurations: CrewMax runs 7 crossbars across a 71.5" x 53.5" x 2.5" footprint, and Double Cab runs 6 crossbars across a 59.5" x 53.5" x 2.5" footprint. Both weigh roughly 50 lbs and carry the same 300 lb dynamic and 600 lb static load rating, which handles a rooftop tent with occupants plus gear. Choose your cab configuration and your fairing height (Full Height for maximum air deflection, or Half Height sized to clear a single-row light bar) using the variant selectors above. Finished in black textured powder coat with black anodized crossbars and black oxide stainless steel hardware. Manufactured in Colorado. Lifetime Warranty.
Installation Notice
Drilling and Rivet Installation Required. Professional Installation Recommended. The Grizzly mounts via four mounting brackets with rivet attachments, which requires drilling into the factory roof. Sherpa recommends professional installation. All required hardware is included. Call us at 844-200-3979 if you have questions before starting.
The PEAK Series
Industry leading premium roof rack systems. The PEAK series is the go-to for a premium aluminum roof rack. It is the line that Sherpa built its name on, and for years it has carried the gear of the most extreme adventurers. Sherpa believes in the constant evolution of their products, building the toughest systems on the market. From industry-leading alloys to uncompromising mounts with rubber seals, you will always Adventure with Confidence.

Crafted
Manufactured in Colorado with precision laser-cut 1/4" aluminum sideplates formed with CNC accuracy by Sherpa's team of professionals. They have created a very stout mounting structure, secured with stainless steel hardware, that will keep your gear where you need it. The 1/4" aircraft-grade aluminum is thicker than most competing racks, which is where the strength comes from without adding excessive weight.

Adaptable
Sherpa knows the importance of mounting all of your goodies on your rig. With the PEAK Series, you have the ability to mount just about anything, anywhere. With slots and holes all over the rack, plus Sherpa's line of accessories, you will never find yourself wishing you could mount something. Secure gear by bolting into one of the extrusion crossbars or by strapping it directly to the side plates.

Durable
Strength is built into Sherpa's brand and the PEAK System is what they built their name on. Using the best in materials and hardware, you can beat on this system every weekend and trust it to show up to work on Monday. The 300 lb dynamic and 600 lb static load ratings handle a full rooftop tent setup with occupants. All backed by Sherpa's Lifetime Warranty, just in case you get a little too western.
Choose Your Cab Configuration
The Grizzly is built specifically for each Tundra cab. Select your configuration using the variant selector above. Both versions share identical construction, load ratings, materials, and finish. The only difference is length and crossbar count to match your roof.
CrewMax
7 crossbars across 71.5" x 53.5" x 2.5". The longer cab gives you a full 12 inches more platform length than the Double Cab, which matters if you are mounting a large rooftop tent plus additional gear.
Double Cab
6 crossbars across 59.5" x 53.5" x 2.5". Sized to the shorter Double Cab roof. Same width, same load rating, same 1/4" aluminum construction as the CrewMax version.

Choose Your Fairing
The Grizzly comes with your choice of two wind fairing heights. Both deflect air over the rack and reduce wind noise. The difference is whether you plan to run a light bar.
Full Height Fairing
Smooth face to deflect more air. If you do not have a light bar, this is the one. It deflects all of the air around your rack for the quietest ride and cleanest look. You can always upgrade later if needed.
Half Height Fairing
A few inches shorter so there is room for a single-row light bar behind the fairing. Pair this with Sherpa light bar brackets and it forms a cutoff line to reduce light wash on your hood.

Cons
- Drilling and rivet installation required. Sherpa recommends professional installation. This is a permanent modification to your factory roof

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount a rooftop tent on the Grizzly?
Yes. With 300 lbs of dynamic capacity and 600 lbs of static capacity, the Grizzly handles most rooftop tents plus occupants and gear. The 71.5" x 53.5" CrewMax footprint accommodates full-size hardshell and softshell tents. Verify your tent's closed weight against the 300 lb dynamic rating for driving. Browse our rooftop tent collection here.
Which fairing should I choose?
Choose the Full Height fairing if you do not plan to run a light bar. It has a smooth face that deflects the most air for the quietest ride. Choose the Half Height fairing if you want to mount a single-row light bar behind the fairing. The Half Height is a few inches shorter to leave room for the light bar, and it forms a cutoff line that reduces light wash on your hood. You can always upgrade the fairing later if your build changes.
Does installation require drilling?
Yes. The Grizzly mounts via four mounting brackets with rivet attachments, which requires drilling into the factory roof. Sherpa recommends professional installation for this rack. All required hardware is included, and both an install video and a downloadable PDF guide are available above. If you are not comfortable drilling into your roof, have a qualified shop handle the install.
What can I mount to the Grizzly?
The PEAK Series has slots and holes all over the rack. Bolt accessories directly into the extrusion crossbars, or strap gear straight to the side plates. Common setups include rooftop tents, awnings, recovery boards, MaxTrax, Rotopax fuel and water containers, light bars, cargo boxes, and shovels. Sherpa also makes a full line of dedicated accessories that bolt into the PEAK mounting points.
Which cab configuration do I need?
We carry the Grizzly in both configurations. Select yours using the variant selector above. The CrewMax version uses 7 crossbars across a 71.5" x 53.5" footprint. The Double Cab version uses 6 crossbars across a 59.5" x 53.5" footprint. Both share the same 300/600 lb load ratings, 1/4" aluminum construction, weight, finish, and fairing options. The CrewMax has the longer cab and larger rear door; the Double Cab has smaller rear doors and a shorter roof. If you are not sure which cab you have, call us at 844-200-3979 and we will confirm from your VIN or year and trim.
