The EXR7741 Soft Top Roof Rack Crossbar Package is a No-Drilling, heavy-duty crossbar rack system designed specifically for the Ford Bronco 4-Door (2021–present). Built around two full-length EXR crossbars, the EXR7741 provides a reinforced, modular platform capable of supporting serious overlanding gear and large rooftop tents across soft top, no-top, and hard top configurations.

Unlike traditional roof racks that restrict soft top operation, the EXR7741 is engineered using EXR’s proprietary and patented design so that the crossbars remain installed and functional when the soft top is down, and the soft top can be fully raised and closed over the installed crossbars when needed. This allows users to transition seamlessly between open-air driving, daily use, and fully equipped camping or weekend setups—without permanent vehicle modification.

Purpose-Built for Soft Top, No-Top & Hard Top Applications

The EXR7741 is designed specifically for Bronco 4-door vehicles where both load capacity and roof flexibility matter. In soft top, no-top, and hard top configurations, the system provides reinforced load paths that allow it to support large rooftop tents and heavy overlanding equipment using a streamlined two-crossbar layout optimized for the Bronco’s roof geometry.

Rooftop Tent Compatibility & Quick Disconnect Convenience

When configured for soft top, no-top, or hard top use, the EXR7741 is rated to support rooftop tents up to a 5-person RTT. For added convenience, the system is fully compatible with EXR’s quick disconnect tent brackets (EXR1601 and EXR1602), allowing compatible tents to be installed or removed quickly using a simple push-pin mechanism.

EXR kayak carriers, kayak baskets, and other compatible accessories use the same push-pin attachment system, including EXR5181 and EXR8891. This quick-disconnect functionality allows fast reconfiguration while maintaining full roof and top usability.

Accessory-Ready Compatibility & Click-In Flexibility

All EXR7741 variants use standard-size crossbars compatible with the majority of aftermarket roof-mounted accessories, including kayak carriers, cargo baskets, roof boxes, bike mounts, recovery gear, and awnings.

Select variants feature EXR’s click-in crossbar profile, allowing compatible accessories such as kayak carriers, kayak baskets, rooftop tent adapter brackets, storage bin adapter brackets, rod holders, and paddle holders to be installed or removed quickly using a push-pin design—making it easy to reconfigure the rack without tools.

EXR crossbars and mounting components used in the EXR7741 are constructed from corrosion-resistant, heavy-duty materials designed for continuous outdoor exposure and sustained load.
