Rustic Mountain Overland, aka RMO, is a serious contender in the overlanding and trailer industry.
Already known for its predecessor, the family owned company now bring us the Patrol XCT. A top quality steel constructed overlanding trailer, capable of going wherever you want to take it.
A robust tongue box located in the front of the unit, makes it the perfect companion for your trips. Whether it looks like its jounger brother, the new Patrol XCT now offers an Extra Cargo with Tongue Box at the front of the unit. This unique container is roomy enough to accommodate a 45 Liter fridge and its respective slide or 55 liter fridge without the slide.
The Patrol XCT has been designed to fit most vehicle's 2" rear receiver hitch. It can be towed by a large number of crossovers, suvs and pickup trucks.

This sturdy trailer excels at cargo capabilities. Not only the Tongue Box plays a major role but the 72” L x 54” W tub, provides a separate area with a total of 64+ cubic feet of storage. There you’ll be able to keep all your camping and off-road goodies away from the elements.
Both compartments include its respective doors for easy access.
The tub’s lid pops us with two gas struts, capable of lifting 150lbs. That means that you can still open the lid even with a 2P Roof Top Tent on top. Yeah, no kidding. RMO trailers are that good!
The factory rack and the two gear plates are included on the stock trailer pricing and they always come handy when you have to secure your gear. You’ll also find multiple tie points on different areas, that way if you need to use bungy cords or just some straps to hold your accessories in place, you’ll have that option too.
The rack can be used to carry roof top tents, awnings, kayaks, fishing rods, mountain bikes, lights and more. The two gear plates on the sides will be able to carry your Rotopax, shovels, axes, recovery boards and plenty of camping and overlanding accessories.
The trailer has been designed with one thing in mind, leaving you the opportunity to ramp it up as much as you want, that way you can puchase the trailer with a large variety of accessories and outfitted into your needs.
We consider that if you’re an outdoor enthusiast, pairing your trailer with a top quality roof top tent is always a great idea, therefore, click HERE to check our Hardshell tent's collection and click HERE to check out Softshell tent's collection.

Shipping And Registering Your Trailer
Shipping is not included in the price. The cost of shipping these trailers is a flat $800 fee that will be added at checkout. The shipping is coordinated via uShip or bumper pull is also an option.
Some states will require to register the trailer at the respective DMV office, for that matter, we’ll include the documents to complete the registration.
All trailers are made to order but the good news is that you´ll have to wait only 4 weeks to get your tracking information. Other trailers in the market can take up to 10 to 12 weeks to be ready.
Should I Go Timbren Or Cruise Master?
While we can get technical about why we should choose one or another suspension, we prefer to keep things simple. The easy answer relies on your driving style and where you’re planning to take your Patrol XCT.
If you feel more like an occasional weekend warrior who likes to take your trailer off road on non-technical terrain but mostly on paved roads and some light trails, then the Timber suspension will get the job done.
On the other hand, if your driving style and your camping spots are more adventurous and even extreme, then the Cruise Master is the way to go. Always, if you’ll be hitting serious technical terrain, this suspension system is the right answer. It'll give you a more enjoyable ride while on the trails.
Both systems are axleless supensions and that means that you'll have a bigger gap between the base the trailer and the ground. This comes handy when you are tackling rough terrain, giving you more clearance from the ground.
