Having a good and reliable suspension system is a crucial part of any vehicle let alone an off-road vehicle. It can help your car move better across rocky terrain without damaging it. That's why we are happy to introduce the Icon suspension system designed to fit the Tacoma models.

Improved on and off-road performance, front and rear-end lift, and the ability to mount up to 33" tires are all features of the ICON Stage 3 EXP suspension system for the Toyota Tacoma models manufactured from 2005 to the present. This system includes our dependable 2.0 Aluminum Series nitrogen-charged monotube shocks for the rear, the cutting-edge new 2.5 EXP series coilover shocks, sway bar relocation brackets, and rear add-a-leaf.

The Toyota Tacoma EXP Series front shock absorbers are a key component of our Stage 3 system because they combine the performance of a quality 2.5-inch diameter shock absorber with the ease and financial advantages of using Tacoma's factory coil spring and other parts. EXP offers 1-2" of suspension raise, custom-tuned performance, and maximum travel in a cost-effective package, bridging the gap between spacer lifts and threaded-bodied coilovers.

The provided sway bar relocation brackets enable sway bar clearance from the EXP coilovers and reduce sway bar link bind throughout the suspension travel range. This makes it possible for the suspension to move more freely and to accommodate the complete range of wheel movement without placing undue stress on any OE parts.

With adjusted front-end geometry, built-in extra caster, and enhanced suspension component clearance, the included ICON tubular upper control arm kit is intended to enhance the overall performance of the new Toyota Tacoma from 2005 up to the current one. The replaceable ICON Delta Joint, which can be used in place of the OE ball joint, also permits the front suspension's entire range of bump and droop motion while removing the bind.

By reducing the rear spring rate in comparison to stock, the rear leaf spring Add-a-Leaf item enhances ride quality. This three-leaf spring replaces the OE overload leaf during installation, doing away with the OE overload's rapid ramp-up in spring rate. This results in better off-road and on-road suspension performance as well as a 1.5" raise in the truck's rear above stock.

Rear shocks from the V.S. 2.0 Aluminum Series with remote reservoirs designed specifically for the 2005–Current Tacoma complete the Stage 3 EXP suspension system. The 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks are a premium improvement for the weekend warrior and daily street motorist seeking better on and off-road performance. They give your Tacoma balanced front-to-rear vehicle control and a fantastic driving experience when combined with the ICON 2.5 EXP Series front coilovers.

Upper Control Arm

Whenever you are changing your vehicle's geometry and upgrading it with a suspension kit, especially on 4WD vehicles, you absolutely need an upper control arm. The UCA is there to correct alignment and inherent clearance issues that arise when you lift or modify the suspension of your 4WD. Upper control arms can be found on independent front suspension (IFS) vehicles and they connect the top of the spindle to the frame.

The UCA is not a load-bearing piece of an IFS suspension, however, it does serve the purpose of guiding your spindle in a pre-determined motion when your suspension cycles up or down. Said load is handled by the lower control arm, which connects to the lower portion of the spindle.
