Why Two Colours Actually Matters
A dual function light bar is not a styling feature. The two colours do genuinely different jobs, and which one you want depends entirely on what is in the air.
White for Distance
Brighter, throws further, and shows colour and detail properly. What you want on clear open trail at speed.
Amber for Particles
Cuts through dust, fog and falling snow. White light scatters off airborne particles and reflects straight back at you as a wall of glare.
Both Together
Wired independently, you can run the pair at once when conditions are mixed and you want everything you can get.

What Comes in the Kit
Wiring options are custom. How many harnesses you need depends on how you want the bar to operate.
Wiring: One Harness or Two?
This is the decision that shapes how the bar works, so make it before you order rather than after. The bar itself has three wires regardless.

One Harness: Everything Together
Choose this if you want the whole bar to switch on and off as one unit and you do not need to separate the colours. Simpler wiring, one switch.
Remove the plug from the harness.
Connect the black wire from the LED bar to the black wire on the harness.
Combine the green and white wires on the LED bar and connect them together to the red on the harness.
Two Harnesses: Amber and White Independently
Choose this if you want amber on its own, white on its own, or both at once. This is the setup that makes a dual function bar worth having, and it needs two harnesses and two switches.
The harnesses have DT plugs on the end. Remove them, as they are not needed.
With the plugs off you will have two red wires and two black wires exposed across the two harnesses.
Join the two black wires together and connect them to the black on the LED bar.
Connect one red to white and the other red to green. That gives you independent control of each colour.

About the Fairing Trim
Worth being upfront: this kit requires slight trimming of the front fairing on the Prinsu rack. The brackets bolt up, but the fairing needs a small cut to clear the bar.
It is a minor job and it is done once, but it is permanent, so measure and mark before you cut. If that is not something you want to do yourself, a shop will handle it alongside the install.
Made for This Rack, Not Adapted to It
The brackets are custom laser cut for the Prinsu roof rack and for this specific bar, which is what gives you a seamless fit rather than a light bar standing proud and whistling at 70 mph.
They are powder-coated in a durable black semi-gloss mini texture, the same finish approach Cali Raised uses across their brackets, chosen for corrosion resistance on a part that lives permanently exposed on the front of a roof rack.
Fitment is guaranteed for the Dual Function bar on a Prinsu rack. Cali Raised does not guarantee it on other racks or other bars.

What do the wire colours mean?
